Ever stare at a blank page, cursor blinking, with an empty mind and a full deadline looming?

Writer's block can be annoying.

But here's a simple hack I use to overcome it: The Two-Minute Rule. ⏱️

  • Start writing, anything at all, for two minutes only.
  • Don’t edit, don’t judge, just let the words flow.
  • Set a timer and commit to those two minutes.

Chances are, you'll keep going beyond the initial burst of effort.

Surprise!

Often, those two minutes turn into ten, then twenty.

And before you know it...

...you've broken through the block and created some decent content.

Why does it work?

  • Lowers the barrier: Two minutes is manageable.
  • Sparks creativity: Even forced writing ignites inspiration.
  • Builds momentum: Starting is the hardest part.
